STREET READERS AND WRITERS, DEC 2011
University of the Arts London professor Teal Triggs included a case study of Daniel Battams Fan Club in her recent talk ‘Street Readers and Writers: Fanzines by Graphic Designers’. It took place at Grafill – the largest conference for the creative industries in the Nordic countries – held in Bergen, Norway.

AID, APRIL 2011
Alliance of Independent Dreamers (AID) brings together independent designers and artists to raise funds for Japan’s relief and reconstruction. Daniel Battams has donated copies of Battams Zine, with all profits going to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
